Work / Warehouse WMS
Conard Logistics Warehouse
A warehouse that bills itself and knows its numbers
We inherited Conard Logistics' warehouse management system mid-flight from another developer. Within days it was documented, under version control and safely deployable. Then we taught it to close the loop between the warehouse floor and the accounting office.

Invoices vs accounting
The challenge
What needed solving
Invoices left the WMS for QuickBooks, then were re-keyed by hand into a separate accounting system. Nobody could easily answer "did everything get billed, exactly once?" or "what does the warehouse really cost to run?"
Delivery fuel surcharges weren't being added automatically, quietly leaving money on the table.
Built with
- PHP
- MySQL
- QuickBooks Online API
- ODBC to accounting
- Mapbox routing
- Chart.js
- AWS
What we built
- Invoices vs accounting, liveEvery WMS invoice is matched against its QuickBooks status and the accounting system, flagging anything missing, duplicated, voided or posted to the wrong account.
- A real warehouse P&LFinancials reads the warehouse's own ledger department live, so revenue, expenses and cost per stored skid sit on one screen.
- Automatic fuel surchargeEach delivery's miles come from Mapbox routing and the rate comes live from the TMS fuel API, so every run is priced correctly with no manual math.
- Safe operations from day oneVersion control, drift checks against production, a backup before every deploy and read-only database access by default.
Interface shown is an illustration with sample data. The production system holds client data and stays private.
